Eyes, Wings And Many Other Things

The origin of eyes, wings and many other things (as told by Colin Arnold):

A few years back I met a guy named Neu Leblanc, who was always working on music as I was, and eventually we started hanging out and recording together at his home. Some time later a friend of his, by the name of Sean French, moved in downstairs from Neu and we would go down there to hang out, and soon become good friends all around. Sean had lots of instruments in his home, and we would always end up wanting to bang around on them, of course. So I got a hold of an eight-track cassette recorder and brought it over to work on some original material involving the three of us. With our laid back approach to playing and recording, it ended up being very fun and loose which is evident in the tunes we produced then (a couple of which are even included on our debut CD).

Neu and I ended up joining a group called Pegasus Now. Sean was, and is a member of The Theater Fire. Pegasus Now fizzelled out after about a year, and in that time my back catalog had grown considerably. What to do with those songs? Longing for the easy days of the past at Sean's house, with his giant, white cat Scratchy as our lazy mascot, we resumed collaborating and fell into a groove pretty quick.

We have had help from various friends on our recordings and live performances. The main players being T.J. Prendergast, Brian Smith, Jesse Brakefield, and Chad Stockslager. All of which are well seasoned and very talented musicians.

Since our beginnings, we've become much more prolific than we would've ever imagined, given our penchant for chemistry experiments and consumption. These, among others, being direct reasons for our decision not to play out often. However, with the release of "Tonsils, toes and everyone knows…." we are planning to change that.
